International Vacation Hotels is the only marketing representation company with a dedicated program that targets the corporate business travel sector. A unique set of sales and marketing services and a dedicated sales team promotes your hotel to corporate travelers, resulting in an increase of reservations for the hotel.
Corporate travelers can be segmented into two categories: multinational companies and SMEs (small, medium enterprises). Multinational companies will book negotiated rates via consortia and travel management companies (TMCs), or contract rates directly with the hotel.
The SME or unmanaged business traveler will vary the way they make their hotel reservations - from booking directly with the hotel to using a travel agent. International Vacation Hotels has a strategy in place to attract business to our member hotels from both types of corporate travelers.
International Vacation Hotels’ corporate sales team has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, and a thorough knowledge and experience in the business travel market. Our sales professionals work the international market to identify and secure key contracts within the corporate sector, with travel management companies and immensely influential global consortia for our member hotels.
As a chain code we have special relationships with many consortia and travel management companies that give us access to key decision-makers. This also provides us with useful account information, market intelligence, inclusion in the RFP and solicitation process, and additional sales activities and initiatives to guarantee exposure to the market and corporate travel bookers for our brand and individual hotels.
We advise and assist hotels in submitting RFP bids via Lanyon to the appropriate consortia programs that will provide the best return on investment to the hotels. Upon acceptance into a program we ensure rates are bookable (via our exclusive rate-checking tool), and work proactively throughout the market to generate business to hotels using these rates and channels to ensure maximum reservations.
